Skills Development
Masicorp is committed to equipping adults and young people living in Masiphumelele with the skills and confidence needed to transform their lives and build sustainable futures.
Our Skills Development programmes offer a range of opportunities to help individuals increase their employability, gain confidence, prepare for the workplace, pursue further education, or achieve personal and economic independence.
Through these programmes, Masicorp aims to open doors to new opportunities, helping people unlock their potential and create a brighter future for themselves and their families.

Digital Skills Training
Computer Training at Masiphumelele Library
Masicorp offers access to computers and the internet at Masiphumelele Library and also runs basic computer training classes for primary school children.
The computer lab is open to the public for general use during library hours for job searches, cv creation, researching of homework, browsing the internet or sending emails.
A staff member is always on hand to assist. Each year, hundreds of parents use Masicorp’s support to submit digital school applications for their children, receiving help with scanning, emailing, printing, or uploading required documents.

Digital Skills Training
Computer Training Centre at Chasmay Campus
Masicorp’s second computer centre is an accredited ICDL (International Computer Driving License) centre, and offers both basic ICT skills courses and accredited ICDL courses for Masiphumelele community members at no cost.
These courses are offered to high school students and adults living in Masiphumelele.

Evangeline Life Skills Training
Run in partnership with Evangeline Ministries, this six-month course covers basic sewing, computer skills, and English for unemployed community members, mainly women.
This combination of skills boosts participants’ confidence and workplace readiness. Each year approximately 48 students graduate, each receiving a new sewing machine.
The highlight of the year are the Evangeline Graduation ceremonies, where participants model outfits they have designed and sewn.
