Experience ‘’Voluntourism’’ with Masicorp: Join us for a day of impact and inspiration
Our voluntourism program invites visitors to spend a day immersed in the heart of the Masiphumelele community, contributing to Masicorp’s life-changing educational initiatives.
Your visit will leave you inspired by the power of education and hope, while your participation directly supports our vital programs.
Why Visit Masiphumelele?
Masiphumelele is a vibrant community with a rich history and a resilient spirit. Yet, it also faces significant challenges, including poverty and limited access to resources. At Masicorp, we believe education is the key to unlocking opportunities and breaking the cycle of poverty. By joining us for a day visiting and working in our programmes, you’ll gain authentic insight into the challenges and triumphs of this community—and play an active role in its transformation.
Your Day in Masiphumelele
Your visit will be guided by a knowledgeable Masi community member, ensuring an enriching and respectful experience.
Activities may include:
- Pre-School Fun: Participate in arts and crafts, storytime, and song and dance with children at one of our three pre-schools.
- Kitchen Support: Help prepare nutritious meals in our pre-school kitchens.
- Learning and Mentorship: Assist with after-school clubs in Maths or English or help adults and youth develop essential computer skills at our training center and library.
