Coding Success: From Ukhanyo to the World Stage

At Masicorp, we believe that when children are given the right opportunities, they can achieve extraordinary things. This year, our Maths Lab Coding Team at Ukhanyo Primary School proved just that — once again!

After their incredible performance in the Mandela Day Coding Tournament, the team advanced to the Tangible Africa Coding Competition World Cup 2025, proudly representing Ukhanyo Primary School and Masicorp on 30 September.

Sponsored by Amazon.com, this global online event brought together 112 organisations, 340 teams, and 1,374 learners from around the world. Competing on this international stage, our two teams showcased their problem-solving, creativity, and digital skills — achieving an impressive 64th and 89th place overall!

This championship was about more than competition — it was about building confidence, fostering connections, and showing that education knows no boundaries.

For many of these learners, access to tablets and coding would not have been possible without Masicorp’s continued investment in the Ukhanyo Maths Lab. What began as a simple introduction to digital literacy has now become a platform where young people dream bigger, push boundaries, and prove that talent exists everywhere — it just needs to be nurtured.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this opportunity possible, and to Tangible Africa for creating such an inclusive way to teach coding to every learner, anywhere in the world.

We’re inspired, proud, and already looking forward to the next opportunity to connect, code, and shine!
