At Masicorp, we are dedicated to being ‘’Partners in Education for Life’’. Our wide range of programms supports individuals at every stage of their educational journey, from early childhood development to adult life skills.
We are empowering individuals and families to break the cycle of poverty and unlock their full potential. Whether it’s fostering a love for learning in young children, boosting literacy and numeracy in schools, or equipping adults with the skills they need to thrive, our programs are designed to create lasting, positive change in the community we serve.
Early Childhood Development
Raising the standard of care and learning outcomes for Masiphumelele children through high quality early childhood education, providing nutritious school meals and preparing children for primary school. We support professional development by helping our teachers to achieve an ECD qualification, and help uplift the informal creche sector, improving learning and creating stimulating educational spaces.
Primary School Learning Labs
Providing quality English & Maths Education at Ukhanyo Primary School in Masiphumelele, supporting teachers in content knowledge and instructional execution. After-school clubs encourage language development and our library service promotes the joy of reading. Maths games and coding clubs give learners the opportunity to take part in national competitions and represent their school.
Primary School Literacy Support
Improving English language skills in children from Masiphumelele, attending various local schools who have been identified for extra support. These mainly volunteer run programmes reach children in small group settings and focus on reading, speaking, writing, vocabulary and spelling.
Skills Development
Providing opportunities for adults and young people from Masiphumelele to develop digital, sewing and life skills. These courses aim to boost confidence and employability, unlock potential, and help put individuals on a path to sustainability.
Community Support
Masicorp is there to provide support to the Masiphumelele community in times of need. Support initiatives include sanitary products, stationery or subsidised school uniforms which are provided to the community on a discretionary basis.
