The Real Power Behind a Monthly Donation to Charity
There is strength in numbers, a group of people standing together and uniting for a common cause can make a real and lasting impact in the world around them. It is the same with a monthly donation to charity. A group effort, where the common cause is aimed at the same result is more likely to make a lasting difference than a once off donation that promises to sponsor a child in South Africa.
Why is donating to charity important? In every human lies the capacity for empathy, but empathy is still no measure of a soul unless acted upon. Our greatness in this life is not measured by what we acquire, rather it is our ability to reach beyond the material and extend our reach to others That, we believe, is a part of everyone’s journey on earth.
Only by giving are you able to receive more than you already have.

What are Friends of Masicorp?
Friends of Masicorp are a united group of people that share our vision. We support the community of Masiphumelele with education, advice, and support through 26 various projects aimed at uplifting the community.
Our friends support our work with a monthly donation. The process is simple. An automatic monthly recurring donation is processed by us, and you simply have to opt in once to become part of a cause that is changing people’s lives daily.
By signing up and becoming a Friend of Masicorp for as little as R150 per month, you support education and people in their quest to uplift themselves and break the cycle of poverty for themselves and their families – leading to independent people who can contribute to building South Africa.
Be More than a Number
When you look for a cause that aligns with your overall goals for being the change you what to see in the world – you should look at being more than just a number. If you donate to Africa and you do so regularly with an array of charities, do you know what kind of impact your donation really has?
Our work speaks for itself. By making a monthly donation to charity with Masicorp you become more than a number – you become part of the family and when you visit you second hole in Masiphumelele you will see how your monthly donation to charity has made an impact in someone’s life.
Whether it be the women from Evangeline who are learning sewing skills and gaining confidence to take care of their families, or if you visit Ukhanyo Primary School and see how our learning labs are supporting children in their educational journey.

PS: Masicorp in collaboration with different.org has started a crowd-fundraiser for our Stay and Play project, which helps female informal creche owners with educational resources and support so they may care for children from the community. By sharing this initiative to Facebook or Twitter from this link: https://different.org/projects/masicorp/stay-play-helping-children-play-1396157259/ you instantly raise R5, which costs you nothing but affords children with quality education and a stepping-stone towards a brighter future.
