Masicorp is very proud of Lungelwa who was selected to our bursary program in 2010. She has since graduated with a Diploma in Management at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and now, in 2013, she has converting this to a Bachelors degree. It is an enormous achievement as Lungelwa comes from a very disadvantaged community where the living is not easy.
She writes:
“My graduation day was the most exciting day in my entire life, it was the experience of a life time. I spent less than a minute on that stage but it meant something to me. Being in that hall with all those graduates motivated me more than I was. It felt like it was only yesterday when I started my first year, not knowing what to expect and whether I was going to make it or not.
This is all thanks to Masicorp for everything that they have done for me. If it was not for you guys I wouldn’t be where I am right now, Yes I did play my part by working hard, but my hard working without you would have been worthless. Your financial support and your moral support took me where I am”
