Quiz Queen!
The easiest question of the night at the FACE Quiz was who deserved most thanks, as the obvious answer was organiser Tash Douglas.
About 70 people showed up for the brain teaser at Rainham Social Club on April 12th to enjoy the cerebral challenge and the sausage and chips.
Thanks to the £5 entry fee, people paying for answers (didn’t know you could do that!) and another of Marion’s superb raffles, the grand total was well over £600.
A big thank you also goes to the rest of the Douglas clan, Graeme, Joi, Richard and Carole, who also played a big part in making things work so well on the night.
And in case you didn’t know before: 3 people died at the OK Coral shoot-out and Chris Chattaway came second when Roger Bannister broke the four-minute mile barrier for the first time – general knowledge boffins there actually goes those ones right!
